Hotel Olimpo has beautiful views from its panoramic location in Letojanni. Set 1.2 km from the nearest beach, it is located at the top of a holiday complex. Hotel Olimpo features bars, restaurants, a gym, and indoor and outdoor pools. Guests can relax at the on-site wellness centre.

Great location, overall lovely place and would recommend the place. Was a bit like cocoon the movie with all the pensi

The location is great, you can easily get to the beach or Taormina very easy.

The timings of some of the activities were not very good. For example everything opens at 9am so no swim/ gym before breakfast. Like everywhere in Sicily things close for a couple hours at lunch. (Gym included) all this means is the facilities you would like to use you probably don’t because it clashes with the restaurant canteen times. The decor was a little dated too. And the coffee was a bit crap.

Wonderful

I like how the location is on the slope of a mountain where you get amazing views of Italy and Taormina, you can travel on foot to letojanni just by taking the hotel cable car and lift from the twin hotel below, breakfast was good.

That you have to pay extra for the swimmingpool or parking, would be nice if included in the price.

A very nice option for Taormina

Big room, great location, very kind personal in hotel and in restaurant.

The furniture is old (including the matress) and the breakfast is the same every day.

Very Good

The fantastic view from the sea side balcony and from everywhere. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was excellent and and we could have dinner as well at extra cost. The room has balcony, it was clean and absolute okay for us (3 persons). We enjoyed staying here, it was an extraordinary experience because of the locaton of the hotel.

The shower was awful, there was not enough water in it. It was very hard to have a shower, I could not wash my hair for example. We stayed only 3 nights, so it was acceptable but I can not imagine how to shower kids after beach in the summer. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything from other rooms and from the restaurant. In april the hotel was silent but in the summer it could be very annoying (especially with little kids)

Great breakfast and nice views from various parts of the hotel.

We didn't get the room we prebooked and paid for (we got a partial see view close to the high way instead of a panorama view further up with a big terrace). First they said that that part of the hotel was closed, which was obviously not true (we saw lights on and people up there) and when we confronted the staff about it, they could only get a room ready for us in that section of the hotel for our 2nd night (we only stayed 2 nights) which was very inconvenient to say the least.

Do not stay weekends as it is more like a reception place then a hotel with wedings and you will not sleep till 2.00am.

Good

Fantastic views, lovely clean pool. Comfortable beds, and clean rooms with good soundproofing that kept the room quiet. The bar at the pool had great pizza, unfortunately only open till 14:00.

The staff had quite limited english language skills, and that made it difficult to communicate at times. Even though we occupied 2 rooms and thus were entitled to 2 sunloungers and an umbrella per room, the staff at one point felt it necessary to redistribute one of the umbrellas we had as they either didn't understand or didn't care. The opening hours were a little strange to us. The pool is available between 9:00 and 18:00, the gym is open from 9:00 to 20:00, but closes from 12 to 15:00, and if you get hungry between the hours of 14:00 and 19:00, be prepared to make the journey down to Letojanni. The pool area is lovely but can get a little crowded. The hotel itself is nice, but could use an upgrade.

The kids loved the swimmingpool, fantastic view from the hotel and we loved our balcony.

The breakfast could be better with more vegetables, fruits and better bread. we didn’t understand why we needed the “club card” that we paid 5 euro per person each day. we thought it was included one sunbed/person on the beach, but it was only two per room. So for the card it was per person, but for beach per room.

Very Good

The pool is great in the period we visited (early June) with plenty of activities, not too busy. We had to bring our own towels. The room was spacious, clean, cool enough and with a lovely view from the balcony.

When navigating to the hotel by car do not trust Google Maps when you're almost there. It navigates you to a gate close to the hotel that they can't operate, requiring you to detour about 10 minutes by car. Instead follow the signs starting on E45 (A18 Messina - Catania). Parking is free, as long as you park on the public road leading to the hotel. Spaces were always available during our stay. Parking on their parking lot costs €5. The online check-in website did not work. The lobby has two devices on which the same online check-in can be achieved. The keyboard's devices remember input, even our passport numbers! Any next guest using the same device could see it, which is a privacy concern. The idea in general is good and should allow for a fast check-in, execution is poor. Using the online check-in we should have received a bottle of wine according to their promotions. We had to specifically mention this at the reception to receive the wine. The wine bottle had a cork, so beware to bring a corkscrew. The breakfast was okay, a lot of name plates were missing at the dishes, allergies were not indicated. The fresh orange juice was great.

I liked the size of the room and the enormous bed, the magnificient view from the balcony. It was also super clean and the bath consummables were with good quality.
